The Elisabeth (Liz) Reed Carter Educational Annual Scholarship provides assistance for tuition to a student enrolled in a program of study. Applicants must be pursuing degrees or certificates in Horticulture, Environmental Studies, Plant Science or Forestry. Applicants must provide the names and email addresses of three persons willing to provide recommendations for them. At least one recommendation must be a Virginia Western instructor, if the applicant is enrolled at the college. If recently attending or graduated from high school, applicants may use a high school teacher(s) to provide recommendations.
