Engineers Foundation of Ohio General Fund Scholarship

Description

The scholarship is offered to students who have been admitted to engineering programs approved by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET), and who seek financial assistance to pursue this education. The scholarship is administered by the Engineers Foundation of Ohio (EFO), a non-profit educational foundation dedicated to the advancement of engineering education in cooperation with the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE). Will achieve college junior or senior status at the end of the academic year in which the application is submitted. Junior status is defined as meaning the applicant can complete requirements for the degree in two more academic years progressing at a normal rate. Co-op students who meet these criteria are eligible. Be enrolled full-time at an Ohio college or university in a curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or its equivalent. Minimum SAT (Math=600, Reading or Composition=500) or ACT (Math=29, English=25). Citizen of the U.S. & permanent resident of Ohio. Be a graduating high school senior. Applications can be downloaded from the scholarship site and submissions are only through mail.
