Description

Evelyn Reid established this scholarship in 2017 for high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in education or the medical field. Applicants must be a current high school senior of Malcolm Public Schools in Malcolm, NE; Waverly Public Schools in Waverly, NE; Raymond Public Schools in Raymond, NE; or Norris Public Schools in Hickman, NE. Preference shall be given to high school seniors from Malcolm, NE and those pursuing a nursing or medically-related career or teaching or education-related career. Applicants must be planning to attend a two- or four-year college with a preference for applicants who attend college in Nebraska. Former recipients who received this scholarship as a high school senior are eligible to reapply the following year by submitting a full application.
