The purpose of the Felicia Brewer Opportunity Scholarship is to create a life-transforming opportunity for immigrant or first generation students who have overcome significant adversity, giving them the opportunity to pursue their dreams and improve their lives through education or training. The scholarship will be awarded to students who have attended a Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools or Chatham County Schools district high school. The scholarship may be used towards any need listed under the school's total cost of attendance. Payments are made annually for up to four years. This scholarship is restricted to current students or alumni of Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools or Chatham County Schools. This scholarship is intended for students pursuing 2-year or 4-year undergraduate degrees, and is not available for graduate or post-graduate education.
