Description

The Fred M. Laurita Scholarship will be awarded to post-secondary students enrolled in culinary and hospitality programs in colleges and universities. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident. They must plan to use the scholarship in a foodservice or hospitality-related program at an accredited post-secondary institution or program in the state of Colorado. Applicants must be enrolled or plan to take a minimum of 9 credit hours each term. They must plan to be enrolled for at least two upcoming consecutive semesters. Applicants must also have at least six months of industry-related work experience. Applicants who meet the minimum criteria will be invited to interview with the scholarship committee. An interview is required to be awarded a scholarship. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation; at least one must be from a current or previous employer.
