The Frederic (Fritz) C. Laquer Scholarship in Analytical Chemistry will be awarded to regularly enrolled students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Students must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry. They must have completed at least 45 credit hours; and have completed Chem 2400, Quantitative Analysis, and CHEM 2404, Quantitative Analysis Laboratory, or their equivalent courses preferably at UNO. Students must also have demonstrated strong academic performance in the area of Analytical Chemistry and academic integrity in their studies. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed or are completing the following courses: Instrumental Methods Laboratory (CHEM 3414), Instrumental Analysis Lecture (CHEM 4400), and/or Instrumental Analysis Laboratory (CHEM 4404), or other analytical courses which may help fulfill the requirements for a chemistry degree.
