Fulbright Future Scholars will undertake research of importance to the bilateral relationship between Australia and the United States in the areas of resources and energy, or other related fields of engineering, physics, mining, geology, and resource extraction at Curtin University. Other activities may include consulting on curriculum, participating in graduate/faculty seminars, and giving guest lectures. Scholars are encouraged to collaborate with the host institution on workshops/short seminars. All applicants should demonstrate plans for some interaction with host institution faculty and students. Awards are open to Mid-Career Academics and Senior Academics. Awards are open to academics at the level of associate or full professor by the grant start date with a distinguished career in the proposed field. If the applicant is not at the level of associate or full professor at the time of application, but will be by grant start, please include information about your career progression and timeline in the personal section of your project statement. A letter of invitation is required. Following the review process, short-listed applicants will be invited to a virtual interview with a Fulbright Selection Committee in Australia. Two letters of recommendation are also required.
