Fulbright Science and Technology Scholars may propose to conduct research, teach, teach/research, or carry out a professional project at any accredited institution of higher education in Argentina. Scholars with teaching-only or teaching/research grants will conduct seminars for undergraduate or graduate students, faculty, or both. Scholars may also advise on ongoing and future research, deliver seminars or short courses to local researchers, and assist in cooperative research projects. Awards are open to Early Career Academics, Mid-Career Academics, Senior Academics, and Community College faculty. Ph.D. (or other terminal degree) is required. Candidates with little or no academic experience in Argentina are encouraged to apply. Applicants residing in the award country at the time of application or thereafter are not eligible to apply for this award. Permanent residents of the award country are not eligible to apply for this award. It is recommended that applicants must have an intermediate-level Spanish language proficiency. A letter of invitation is required. The letter must include the course(s) that the U.S. scholar is expected to teach, as well as any research projects in which the scholar will engage. The letter must be signed by the highest school or department authority. Candidates may be invited to participate in a virtual interview as part of the host country review process.
