Garden Club of America Summer Scholarship in Field Botany

Description

To support studentÔÇÖs field studies and offer an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience beyond the regular course of study. Provides $3000 annually to one student for out-door summer study in the field. Open to undergraduate and masterÔÇÖs degree students. Research must be conducted in the Western Hemisphere. Eligibility is open to U.S. Citizens and permanent residents who are enrolled in a U.S. - based institution. Please provide two letters of recommendation, one from your advisor and one from a professor familiar with your work and interests. One should include comments on your academic progress and achievements, personal qualities, and eligibility for the summer program you have selected. The other should include information on the program you have selected and assurance that you have applied and can be accepted. Electronic copies of the letters of recommendation should be attached below and must include the reference's signature. If reference desires to send directly to the GCA, please have s/he mail or email the letter to the addresses listed.
