Thanks to a generous grant from the Fritz Thyssen Foundation, the OAH sponsors the Germany Residency Program in American History at the University of Augsburg in 2025. Applications are invited from OAH members who are established scholars affiliated with an American or Canadian university interested in leading an advanced undergraduate or graduate student seminar in Augsburg. The course will take place over a period of 4 to 5 weeks during the summer. The seminar will cover a topic of U.S. History or the History of Transatlantic Relations of an applicant's design. All fields and methodologies are welcome. The language of instruction is English. The application process for the Germany residency program requires a short CV and an outline of the planned seminar.
