The Ginger Fikes Memorial Scholarship was established for graduating Center Point High School students in memory of Ginger Fikes, who was killed by a drunk driver just prior to her senior year in high school. Ginger would have been a 1997 graduate of Center Point High School. Applicants must be a graduating student at Center Point High School. Applicants should be active in extracurricular activities and community service, and have better than average grades. Selection is based on academic performance, extracurricular activities and community service, the content of the essay submitted, and financial need.
