The purpose of the Good Eats Scholarship is to nurture future professionals in the fields of agriculture and culinary arts who will hopefully return to Hawaii to enhance the quality of food in the islands. Preference is for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. The donor requires applicants to attend an accredited institution in the continental US. Applicants should be able to demonstrate an interest in food production and preparation through participation in a high school or community college home economics, culinary arts or horticulture program or involvement in clubs or activities in this area. Preference will be given to students who will submit two letters of recommendation that indicate the student's interest and commitment to this course of study.
