Description

The Graciette Maria Simao Rosa Scholarship will be awarded to matriculated students of Portuguese descent enrolled in a teacher preparatory program offered by the School of Education and Professional Studies. In years where there are no qualified applicants who meet the fund's primary criteria, awards may be made to full- or part-time matriculated students of Portuguese descent, pursuing any major provided they hold a GPA of at least 2.70. In years when there are no qualified students of Portuguese heritage, awards may be made to any full- or part-time student enrolled in a teacher preparatory program offered by the School of Education and Professional Studies. Applicants must submit the instructor's recommendation form to a teacher, instructor, or professor who will email it in PDF format directly to PALCUS.
