Description

Award recipients will also be provided a one year membership to GPLLA. The GPLLA Student Scholarship fund was established to provide financial aid to those students who are pursuing a graduate degree in Library Science. The purpose of this award is to encourage library students to pursue a career in law librarianship. Applicant must be a student accepted and/or registered at an ALA-accredited library school (a minimum of half-time status) who will continue as a student for another semester or quarter. Preference will be given to applicants residing in the Tri-State area (generally understood to encompass the area of Pennsylvania east of the Susquehanna River, the area of New Jersey south of and including Trenton, and all of Delaware). Additional requirement includes 2 letters of recommendation. Mailed copies are acceptable.
