Description

The Gregori Jakovina Scholarship may be awarded to either Oregon or Clark County, Washington residents studying in the Arts, with a preference given to visual arts such as painting, sculpture, and photography. Applicants must be pursuing post-secondary education in the coming 2025-2026 school year. Three essays are required, the Personal Statement and the Community Involvement essay may be submitted in written form or a video essay. Optional materials that can be included with the application are academic transcripts; resume with work experience, school activities and honors, and extracurricular and community activities, including volunteer roles, arts, and/or activism; a letter of recommendation; and 1-2 writing or art samples. Transcripts are only required for applicants from Washington. Applicants from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, or Oregon are not required to submit transcripts.
