Description

This scholarship was established with the Foundation by the Gislason family in memory of their mother. It is to be awarded to a student enrolled in the Department of Icelandic Language and Literature at the University of Manitoba. Applicants should submit a general request, allowing the committee to consider each submission for any Foundation scholarship which is applicable. Priority may be given to first time applicants. Two references from persons other than family members are required for application, one of whom must be from someone with a teaching background. References may be submitted separately.
