The Habib Kothawala Scholarship will be awarded annually to one medical student. Applicants must be pursuing a Medical degree (MD/DO). They must be at least a first-year medical student (M1/MS1). Applicants must be enrolled in an osteopathic/allopathic medical school located in the U.S. Applicants must be attending a U.S. accredited institution. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students. The applicant's Expected Family Contribution (EFC) or Student Aid Index (SAI), per the FAFSA Student Aid Report, must be less than or equal to 50,000.
