The Hendrix College Performing and Fine Arts Scholarship is awarded based on the student's music, theatre, dance, and arts talent. This scholarship is also available to non-majors students. Students interested in art scholarship must submit the URL to a set of images on Flickr containing 10-20 images of their artwork. Descriptions should include the name, title, medium, dimensions, and date of the piece being presented. Students interested in music scholarship must audition with an appropriate member of the faculty by March 11 for in-person auditions. Recorded auditions must be received by the Office of Admission on or before March 1, 2023. Students interested in theatre arts and dance scholarship must with an appropriate member of the faculty by March 11. Performance and non-performance applicants are encouraged to apply. A letter of recommendation from a teacher, though not necessarily from theatre/drama, who can comment on creative ability, cooperation, and willingness to work with others must also be sent directly to the Hendrix Office of Admission or the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance.
