The HJCC Charitable Corporation Scholarship Fund was established in 2016 by the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce Charitable Corporation (HJCCCC) to support students seeking a degree in business related fields. The donor requires the applicants to pursue a degree in Business, International Relations, Japanese Language, or Japanese Studies. The donor allows the students to attend an accredited post-secondary educational institution located in Hawaii or the mainland U.S. Preferences (in order of priority) will be given to (1) recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing; (2) to the child of an active Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce member in good standing. (children of officers and directors of Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce Charitable Corporation as of the application due date are not eligible); and (3) to students who demonstrate community service.
