Home Building Foundation - Jim Irvine Statewide Scholarship

Description

The Home Building Foundation - Jim Irvine Statewide Scholarship will be awarded to students who major in architecture, construction, engineering (civil, electrical, industrial, management), interior design/architecture, or landscape architecture. Preference will be given to civil engineering and construction majors. Applicants must pursue a career in building/construction site management, CAD/CADD drafting and/or design technology, construction trades, engineering technology, general drafting and design technology, or HAC/HACR, HVAC, HVACR technician. Applicants may attend any public or private, nonprofit or for profit, Title IV, postsecondary school. Preference will be given to applicants with a GPA of 3.00 or higher. Financial need may or may not be considered but filing of FAFSA is still required. Students may apply-compete annually as this scholarship may be received for a maximum of 4 years. February 15 is the Early Bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all materials to be submitted to OSAC.
