Description

The Houston Alumni Chapter Scholarship is based primarily on scholarship merit, financial need and evidence of leadership. Applicants must be a United States citizen from the Houston metropolitan area and a graduating high school senior OR a current AAMU undergraduate student who is in good standing with the University. Graduating high school seniors must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 and attained a score in the 50 percentile on the college entrance examination (ACT or SAT). Current AAMU students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.85 and completed 30 semester hours.
