Applicants must have also been enrolled as a student during some part of the current year. To apply, an eligible student should prepare a brief (one-page) statement which describes their interest in human rights, and the conjunction of this topic to their applied research interests. The statement may include a description of prior and/or current human rights advocacy activities in which the student has engaged. 2021 update: Due to changing the annual meeting to virtual format, SfAA will not be offering the Student Travel Awards for 2021.
