The Hy Zolet Student Athlete Scholarship was created to honor and celebrate the life and accomplishments of Hy Zolet, a high school and college athlete. All who came into contact with Hy, and his love of life, integrity, work ethic and unsung hero mentality, walked away a better person for knowing him. Through this scholarship, we will strive to identify men and women who exemplify the qualities that Hy exhibited every day. Applicants must be a high school student-athlete. Applicants must submit at least two letters verifying their participation in high school athletics and evidence they possess the qualities Hy Zolet exemplified, including a good work ethic, fairness and courage, in addition to outstanding leadership and athletic skills.
