The Orthodontics Research Group (ORG) considers new researchers to be critical to the future of ORG, both as contributors to the science and to our leadership. To defray some of the travel expenses to the IADR General Session & Exhibition, ORG will offer three travel awards: two Travel Awards for New Researchers and one Travel Award for a Faculty member living in a low-to-upper-middle income country. Selection is based on originality, scientific rigor, and potential impact on global oral health. Applicants must be a member of IADR and ORG. They must be the first author/presenter on an abstract submitted to ORG for the IADR General Session & Exhibition. New investigator applicants must be undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students, or investigators within 5 years after earning their highest degree (by the award deadline). Faculty member applicants must be those who live in a low-to-upper-middle income country, as defined by the country's Gross National Income (GNI) according to the World Bank Classification (by the award deadline).
