Our Pre-Graduate scholarship provides financial aid to qualified American Indian and Alaska Native undergraduate students. Recipients must be members or descendants of federally recognized, state-recognized or terminated Tribes enrolled in courses leading to a bachelor's degree in pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, pre-podiatry and other subjects needed by the Indian health programs. Preparatory and Pre-Graduate Scholarships: Be willing to sign an IHS Scholarship Program Agreement (which can be accessed at the scholarship site) documenting that you're committed to continuing your education in your identified health profession degree program. You must be a United States citizen (US-born or naturalized) or US national to be considered for an IHS scholarship. Males 18 years or older must be registered for Selective Service. A copy of a driver's license or a social security card will not be accepted as documentation of citizenship.
