Illinois Tech is proud to award scholarships to students who demonstrate a commitment to community-building, leadership development, and growth in the esports community. Open only to incoming first-year students who are United States citizens or permanent residents, the scholarship has been awarded to candidates who demonstrate the following strengths: commitment to building a positive community, exhibition of leadership skills, demonstrated experience in competitive esports, including games such as League of Legends, Overwatch, and Hearthstone, and interest in the development and growth of the Illinois Tech Esports community.
