The Inspired to Serve Scholarship Fund in Memory of Seigo and Hisaye Kagawa was created in 2016 to honor the memory of Seigo and Hisaye Kagawa. Applicants must be a resident of the island of Kauai. They must pursue a master's degree program or doctoral studies and attend a college or university in Hawaii or on the US mainland. Applicants must pursue a degree with a focus on social justice, public or human service, education or health. Preference will be given to students who intend to be employed on Kauai or in the State of Hawaii.
