Description

The ISA+21 Francesca Norris Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of a young woman who was well on her way to achieving her dream of becoming an airline pilot when she lost her life in an airplane accident. Scholarships (one of those is cosponsored by the U.S. Aviation Academy) will be awarded to women who are working to acquire a CFI, CFII, or MEI rating, in honor of Francesca's memory. The recipient will attend the U.S. Aviation Academy in Denton, Texas, for her training. Applicants must be a current member of Women in Aviation International by October 1, 2024, and their membership must not expire before March 2025. Two professional letters of recommendation are required. Letters may not be from family members.
