The ITSS Best Presentation by a Student Award will be presented to the graduate student trainees whose work in the field of Immunotoxicology is deserving of recognition. The ITSS will present two awards to recognize outstanding graduate student research in the field of immunotoxicology: (1) General Immunotoxicology Award - Honors excellence in any area of immunotoxicology research. (2) Research Institute for Fragrance Materials-sponsored Award - This one-time award specifically recognizes research that features New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) to advance exposure science, improves understanding of material composition, or contributes to risk assessment. Applicants must be current or pending members of ITSS. Awardees will be asked to give a 3-5' presentation during the ITSS reception and are therefore required to attend the SOT Annual Meeting to receive the award. Applicants must submit a letter of support from their mentor, which should include: a description of the student's specific contributions to the project; the scientific impact and relevance of the work to immunotoxicology; and a statement of support for the student's application for the selected award.
