The ITSS HESI Immunotoxicology Young Investigator Travel Award is made possible by the Health and Environmental Science Institute Immunotoxicology Young Investigator Award Fund of the SOT Endowment Fund. The nominees should be PhD candidates or within five years of receiving a PhD. The cash award will assist young investigators to attend the SOT annual meeting and present their research. Both US and international investigators are eligible and encouraged to apply. Applicants need not be ITSS members. However, those who are members or who are in the process of becoming members will be given preferential consideration. The original abstract must have been submitted to the SOT Annual Meeting. The abstract must also be included in the application. Applicants must also submit a letter from their current advisor and/or employer indicating the applicant's contributions to Immunotoxicology (or a closely related discipline) and potential future contributions to the discipline.
