The ITSS Mitzi and Prakash Nagarkatti Research Excellence in Immunotoxicology Awards are made possible by the Mitzi and Prakash Nagarkatti Research Excellence in Immunotoxicology Award Fund of the SOT Endowment Fund. This award will assist graduate students or postdoctoral scholars to attend the SOT Annual Meeting and present their research. For full consideration, applicants need to be ITSS members; those with pending applications are also accepted. The original abstract submitted to the SOT Annual Meeting must be submitted with the application, and the nominee must be planning to attend the meeting. A letter of support from the current advisor and/or employer indicating the individual's contributions to Immunotoxicology (or a closely related discipline) and potential future contributions to the discipline is also required. Applicants need not be a member of SOT, but those who are members or who are in the process of becoming members will be given preferential consideration.
