The J. Clawson Mills Scholarships Awarded for one year's study or research at the Museum or abroad in any branch of the fine arts relating to The Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection. J. Clawson Mills Scholarships are generally reserved for mature scholars of demonstrated ability. Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae of education, professional experience, honors, awards, and publications. Three letters of recommendation, at least one academic and one professional, none of whom may be current Met staff, are required.
