Description

The Jack R. Barckhoff Welding Management Scholarship will be awarded to a college junior pursuing a minimum four-year bachelor's degree in welding engineering (WE). Seniors entering OSU graduate school in welding engineering will be considered if there are no qualified junior welding engineering candidates. Any OSU Welding Engineer going into the Research Field upon graduation is not eligible to receive a Jack R. Barckhoff Welding Management Scholarship. Applicants must currently be a junior. Two letters of recommendations would benefit your application.

Eligibility Requirements

  • CheckmarkMinimum 2.5 GPA
  • CheckmarkMust be at least 18 years old
  • CheckmarkMust not be attending high school currently
  • CheckmarkRestricted to students studying in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah
  • CheckmarkRestricted to students studying Engineering/Technology
