Description

Jacksonville University partners with the City of Jacksonville and the Duval County Public Schools to fund up to two (2) full JU scholarships per year. The Jacksonville Commitment Scholarship is available to students who must be attending a Duval County public high school, qualify for the federal Pell grant program, and be accepted to the University. Students must apply to Jacksonville Commitment directly as well as submit an additional essay to Jacksonville University. It is awarded in the spring prior to the start of freshman year.
