The Jane Richardt Christie Scholarship is awarded with primary preference to freshman through senior collegian members of the Gamma Chapter at Butler University who are pursuing undergraduate study in elementary education during the academic year for which the scholarship is granted. If no applicants meet this criterion, the award may be extended to Gamma Chapter collegians pursuing undergraduate study in any field, followed by senior collegians or alumnae of Gamma entering graduate study. If still unawarded, the scholarship may be granted to any collegian or alumna member of Kappa Alpha Theta pursuing undergraduate or graduate study. In the event the Gamma Chapter is disestablished, the scholarship will continue to follow the stated preference order unless and until the chapter is reestablished. To be eligible for Theta Foundation scholarships, you must be a college or alumna member of Kappa Alpha Theta in good standing with the Fraternity.
