Description

The Jay Spence Memorial Scholarship was established by family and friends to honor the memory of James ÔÇ£JayÔÇØ Edmund Spence, IV. Scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors and alumni from Jordan-Matthews High School and Chatham Charter High School in Siler City, North Carolina, and plan to continue an undergraduate or graduate education at an accredited public, private, or community college. Students should identify as Christian, exhibit strong character through a positive attitude, and have a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. Recipients will be selected based on their character, potential for success, and level of passion.
