The JGLR/Elsevier Student Award is awarded annually to the top-ranked paper in the current volume of the Journal of Great Lakes Research whose lead author was a student at the time of acceptance. Papers are judged by the IAGLR Chandler-Misener Review Committee. Evaluations are based on originality, an outstanding original piece of work; contribution, a substantial body of theoretical, experimental or field research; and presentation, clarity of literary style and illustration. Applicants must provide the citation information of the paper they wish to nominate. The paper must have been published in the current publishing year.
