The Jim McBroom and John H. Weston Charitable Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation Scholarship will be awarded to students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with a preference for studies in the areas of fine arts or humanities. Three essays are required, the Personal Statement and the Community Involvement essay may be submitted in written form or a video essay. Optional materials that can be included with the application are academic transcripts; resume with work experience, school activities and honors, and extracurricular and community activities, including volunteer roles, arts, and/or activism; a letter of recommendation; and 1-2 writing or art samples.
