Recognizing the hard work of the Laker football players, who juggle class schedules with practice and game schedules and may require extra time to complete their coursework, John and Barbara initiated a scholarship to help the players complete their degree at Grand Valley State University. The John & Barbara Gracki Football Degree Completion Scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate students who have exhausted their athletic eligibility. Applicants must be accepted for or currently attending GVSU. They must be a current or former Laker Football athlete who has exhausted their athletic eligibility and has not completed their undergraduate education. Former players who have attended GVSU and have come back to finish their undergraduate degree are also eligible. No formal application required; scholarship awarded based on nomination from coach.
