Description

The John A. Savoy Scholarship Fund is open to South Williamsport Area High School graduating seniors. Applicants must attend an accredited institution of higher education, preferably in Pennsylvania. Applicants must exhibit good citizenship and community involvement, and are not recipients of other major scholarship awards. Other than a strong potential for success, such factors as class rank and grade point average will not be criteria in making a selection unless in the judgment of the selection committee such factors are needed to distinguish between multiple potential candidates.
