The John Bodley Student Travel Award honors the international scholar known for his research on the effects of development on Indigenous peoples and, more recently, on the scale of wealth and power in the modern world. The award was established by former students. Each year, a travel award is given to a student presenting a paper or poster at the Society for Applied Anthropology Annual Meeting. Applicants must have been enrolled as a student during part of the current year; and must have an accepted paper or poster abstract for the Society for Applied Anthropology Annual Meeting program.
