Description

James R. Hopes has established scholarships to encourage talented art students with financial need to further their art careers. Applicants must be enrolled in the Art B.A./B.F.A., Digital Media B.A./B.F.A. or Photography B.S. Preference will be given to students entering their sophomore or junior year in 2023-24. Students may submit only one application regardless of artistic category. Applicants must be majors in the UCF School of Visual Arts & Design. Applicants will be considered in the following areas: Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Book Arts, Ceramics, Sculpture, and Digital/Electronic Media. The application must contain one piece of art. Series, diptychs, or triptychs may be considered as one artwork. One JPG with different unrelated artworks will not be considered. Artwork should be submitted in JPG format.
