JSU Gamecock Excellence Scholarship

Description

The Gamecock Excellence Scholarship will be awarded to students based on their high school GPA and ACT or SAT test scores. The amount of the award the students may receive varies depending on their high school GPA. Students must score 29-30 on their ACT or 1330-1380 on their SAT. Students with a GPA of 2.00 - 2.99 may receive $4,000 - $16,000 for four years. Students with a GPA of 3.00 - 3.24 may receive $9,000 - $36,000 for four years. Students with a GPA of 3.25 - 3.49 may receive $10,000 - $40,000 for four years. Students with a GPA of 3.50 - 4.00 may receive $10,500 - $42,000 for four years. Merit scholarships are renewable for 4 years or 8 semesters. First-time freshman students will be considered automatically for merit scholarships upon admission to JSU. The preferred admissions application period for Fall 2025 is from August 15, 2024 - August 1, 2025.
