Description

The Gamecock Opportunity Scholarship will be awarded to students based on their high school GPA. Students with a GPA of 2.00 - 2.49 may receive $1,000 - $4,000 for four years. Students with a GPA of 2.5 - 2.74 may receive $2,000 - $8,000 for four years. Students with a GPA of 2.75 - 2.99 may receive $3,000 - $12,000 for four years. Merit scholarships are renewable for 4 years or 8 semesters. First-time freshman students will be considered automatically for merit scholarships upon admission to JSU. The preferred admissions application period for Fall 2025 is from August 15, 2024 - August 1, 2025.
