Description

The Juanita McNeil Scholarship was created to honor the resilience of the West End Community and its residents. The scholarship is also a tribute to Ms. McNeil, who championed a movement in the West End Community that resulted in community revitalization efforts, greater community engagement, and programs that served hundreds of students and their families. Applicants must be high school seniors in Durham County. Applicants must be residents of the West End Community in Durham, NC, as defined by zip codes 27701 and 27707 and/or students who demonstrate a commitment to the West End community.
