The Judge Efren and Lite Iglesia Scholarship Fund: In Memory of Roger and Pat Freet is open to Reedley High School students, Reedley College students, and Monterey County youth within the Filipino community. They must have the intention to pursue a post-secondary education. Applicants must have demonstrated participation in extra-curricular activities and activities involving service to others or the community at large. They must also have demonstrated good character. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation describing their positive qualities, including their interpersonal skills, work ethic, and character. For Reedley High School students, one $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating student and one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to another graduating student. For Reedley College students, one $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating student and one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to another graduating student. For Monterey County youth, three scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded to graduating high school seniors.
