Description

The Kaech Scholarship is for graduates, including GED recipients, home-schooled graduates and current undergraduates, of public high schools in Portland. Applicants must major in Music, with a preference for reed instruments. Applicants must have participated in band or informal music activities. Eligible colleges are any 2- or 4-year, public or private, nonprofit, Title IV, postsecondary school in the United States. University of Oregon is not eligible. Students must apply-compete annually as this scholarship may be received for a maximum of 4 years. Financial need is not a requirement but it will be considered; FAFSA filing is recommended.
