Description

The Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarships in Horticulture will be awarded to encourage the study of horticulture and related fields. Eligibility is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are currently and actively enrolled in a U.S.-based institution in eligible states. Students should be majoring in horticulture or related fields. Awards are paid directly to recipients in support of their education and research. Grosscup scholars may apply for funding a second year. Two letters of recommendation are required to be submitted to be eligible for a GCA scholarship. One must be from the applicant's advisor on their academic progress and achievements, personal qualities, and qualifications for the summer program or project that the applicant has developed or selected. The second letter should be from the applicant's current or former employer. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Garden Club of America for more information.
