Description

Bill Dixon, a 1976 Samford graduate and member of the Brock School of Business Dean's Advisory Board, created this scholarship to honor his wife, Kay Sims Dixon. Bill, now retired, was a senior vice president of marketing at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama. Blue Cross/Blue Shield has also been a wonderful friend of the school, generously sponsoring our Wall Street Journal newspaper program. This scholarship is available to students who have completed one full semester at Samford. Applications are sent to all undergraduate business students at the start of the spring term.
