Description

Established in 2023, the Kendra Smith Scholarship is awarded annually to outstanding student(s) seeking higher education or careers in healthcare. Applicants must be a high school senior and plan to pursue a degree in healthcare. This includes but not limited to Medical, Healthcare (Clinical or administrative), or Public Health. The award is renewable up to three years until a bachelor's degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Awards are for undergraduate study only. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance; demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities; work experience; statement of educational and career goals and objectives; unusual personal or family circumstances; an online recommendation; and essay.
